Kind of! We work with venues of all shapes and sizes that appreciate what local art means for their business and their customers. We curate local art, install it, and provide a simple, fast way for customers to buy it.
Our accountant asks us this regularly.. Actually, our business model is very simple: When a piece of art sells, we collect a percentage of its selling price. We share this with the venue and we use the rest to operate the business.
Our curation staff take this seriously. The challenge in placing the right art in the right place is that you never master it, but if you watch and study what happens, you can get better at it.
We'd be delighted to talk and see if the art we work with would be compatible with your space. If it is, working with us can bring a new vibrancy to your location and you can share in the proceeds when art sells - please click the contact us link in the header and lets talk.
It's simple - you've done all the work, we just make it easy to buy. Our platform has all of the rich information about you and the piece with nothing more than a QR code for the buyer to snap to get there.
Yours. We love to discover and promote local artists and see their works find new homes.
We don't set the price of any art - you do. However, we have so much data on what sells, we can provide some expertise on what other pieces bring.
Our curation staff considers a lot of information in making this decision. We look at the space we have available, the size, the materials, the price, the subject matter - a host of things. In the end, we want to see your art sell to someone who will love it.
Lord above, no! We like to work with brokers very much - they know the market, they are willing to bring pieces in, take pieces out, arrange shipping, provide mentoring - they do it all. Please have them contact us.
Sure, happens all the time. However, once that piece sells, you'll need to take it off your site, or tell us to take it down off of ours. No bueno if you sell a piece twice..
It's up to you - you can leave it listed on allwalls.art and through our meta tags it can very easily be discovered. Or you can remove it. Our curation staff is constantly trying to optimize what goes on the wall, so don't be surprised if we move a piece from one venue to another to put it where it might sell faster. We do focus on turning locations over regularly - we want the walls to be full of fresh art for people to see.
Not in the slightest. Brokers in the art world are absolutely critical to its functioning as an industry. Most artists recognize the function and service a broker provides and we want to work with brokers first. Whatever arrangement you have with your artists is your business with them - not ours. We charge a percentage of the selling price and send the net proceeds to you.
Yes - we are insured for all of the terrible things that life can dish out. Part of the art intake process is establishing fair market value of a piece and adding it to our blanket policy.
This is so important - we keep a ton of data on all the art we have in the system, and we also keep track of how we work with our brokers. The normal everyday things like being responsive, easy to work with, attentive, and your willingness to take on new artists all factor in to the referrals we make.
